Gemma Sperring
Gemma grew up in Portishead and graduated from Swansea University with a Masters degree in Osteopathy in 2015. During her masters, Gemma researched the relationship between mental well-being and chronic low back pain and this topic still remains a keen interest.
Since 2019 Gemma has had two children and this has sparked a new interest in womens health, particularly post natal care. With this in mind, she has decided to embark on a 2 year post graduate diploma into Osteopathic Care and management of womens health conditions which begins May 2022 and hopes, once qualified, she can assist in providing quality treatment for a number of female specific complaints.
Within the clinic Gemma treats using a wide variety of osteopathic techniques, she is also qualified to use dry needling (acupuncture).

What Gemma's patients say...
I can't recommend Gemma highly enough. Her knowledge is incredible, and every treatment I've had has been effective and tailored to exactly what I needed. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Gemma was absolutely brilliant at releasing the tension in my neck and very helpful suggesting other things for me to do to help with my neck tension and headaches. She was also very friendly and the appointment flew by!
Am so grateful to Walnut Grove who thankfully had an appointment for me as am in such pain with my neck area I am daily near to tears! My treatment with Gemma was fantastic and Gemma worked on areas of pain and worked right into the route of the issue. I am still in pain as know this will take a series of sessions but can already feel the difference. So lucky to have such quality practitioners at Walnut Grove and fantastic reception team. Thank you!
