Meet Our Team
Tom Riddell
Tom graduated in 2012 from The University of Salford with a degree in Sport Rehabilitation and joined Walnut Grove in 2013.
Tom works with a full range of patients with both acute and chronic injuries and works with them to help facilitate getting them back to doing what they love.
He also has a keen interest in injury prevention, by creating exercise plans based on the demands of sports to help reduce the risk of injuries. Also providing sports massage treatment to help manage muscle tightness and improve recovery.
As well as working at Walnut Grove he works with Nailsea & Tickenham Football Club and in the SGS college Sport Academy working with younger athletes looking to break into professional sport.
He also recently started working at F2 Functional Fitness providing 1:1 suspension training.
The main sport he enjoys is swimming, previously being a competitive swimmer and still works as a swimming teacher, as well as playing squash and golf. He also plays bass guitar and keyboard in a band.

What Tom's clients say...
Tom listened to my issues. Checked out my body with testing to pinpoint to problem. Once done , he used massage to settle things down with advice on how to proceed at home. A very thorough treatment so I felt fully assured that ongoing all will be well. Excellent service and a very fair fee.
Tom was professional, a great communicator and identified the treatment I needed at this time, very quickly.
I'd like to say a huge thank you to the team at Walnut Grove, a year ago I was in so much pain with a back problem it was literally draining my personality - not only have Tom and Ruth improved my mobility, I am now stronger and more flexible than I have been in years! Thank you so much.
Saw Tom, the sports injury therapist after breaking my wrist and having the plaster cast removed. My hand and wrist were very painful and I had to wait 3 weeks for the hospital physiotherapist appointment. Tom reassured me greatly and explained what was going on and why there was so much pain at the moment. He showed me exercises to help recovery, so am very glad I went to see him rather than just waiting for the hospital visit.
