Meet Our Team
Emma Phillips
Emma is from Newport in Wales, a Foot Health Practitioner and qualified nurse who graduated from Cardiff University in 2018. She is a qualified orthopaedic practitioner, after qualifying from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2013.
Emma’s nursing background includes significant experience in wound care and orthopaedics. She has worked closely alongside trauma teams, foot and ankle surgeons, and within the Cardiff Vascular Unit, supporting patients with complex foot complications such as diabetic foot ulcers, fractures, and challenging wounds. This experience allows her to deliver safe, evidence-based care with a strong focus on prevention and long-term foot health.
As a Foot Health Practitioner, Emma provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for a wide range of foot conditions, including corns, calluses, thickened and ingrown toenails, fungal infections, and dry or cracked skin. She also specialises in toenail reconstruction, a treatment that restores the natural appearance of damaged or missing toenails using a medical-grade reconstruction system while allowing the natural nail to grow underneath.
To complement her clinical treatments, Emma also offers a relaxing foot massage to promote comfort, circulation, and wellbeing. In her spare time, she enjoys camping with her family and keeping active through rollerblading – although she probably falls over more than she should!
Emma is an independent foot health practitioner who rents space at Walnut Grove Clinic. Emma operates independently of Walnut Grove Clinic.
